Traditional estate planning focuses on helping your family avoid probate, protecting your spouse and/or children, and ensuring the right people can know about your condition and have the power to ensure your wishes are followed when you're not able to make them. This can include everything from small-business continuity to ensuring your children's inheritance is protected and can support them if you're not there.
While you'll leave with a set of documents, my service comes in helping you understand the legal and practical significance of each decision, and in making sure these documents will work when they're supposed to. We'll help you store them securely so you can share them with loved ones or emergency workers as needed.
I work purely on a flat-fee basis for traditional estate planning, at a rate you choose based upon the level of service you select. On all plans, I'll come to you; we'll discuss what makes your family unique, and how your plan should address you and your families particular situation. After that, feel free to reach out with a question, and you'll get an answer (but not another bill!) directly from me.

While Medicare provides solid medical insurance for seniors, those needing long-term care are required to either purchase expensive long-term-care insurance or decimate their hard-earned savings to afford home-health and nursing-home care. I help you unlock additional funds using legal strategies — including Medicaid Asset Protection Trusts (MAPTs) — that allow you to qualify for Medicaid's long-term care benefits while preserving the assets you've spent a lifetime building.
All of my clients receive the same personal care and attention (I'll still come to you, and I'll personally answer your questions), but the situations and strategies applicable to each individual situation vary enough that I cannot quote a fee up front. Nevertheless, a 15-minute call to see if we're a good match for each other is always free, and an initial sit-down consultation (not rushed) is $250; if you decide to move forward with me, that will always apply to my final fee for your plan. In most cases (depending upon what we agree to), I'll continue to answer questions and help get your plan in place.
